Hi! My name is Raquel and I was raised between the United States and Panama. After working over 25 years in the corporate world I began teaching at a small school in Panama, and have loved teaching ever since.
My husband, youngest daughter and I moved to Portugal two and a half years ago, settling in Coimbra while our daughter attends the university. I’m excited about joining the IH team this year, helping teenagers English language skills grow as they also become more confident. When I’m not teaching I paint, read, cook and enjoy walks in this lovely city.
